Inaugural Speech

The BS Club is a business and social club.

It was born out of my observation that the healthiest, happiest and most financially content people I know are the ones who where able to balance their business and social lives in such a way that they were comfortable talking business in a social setting and socializing in a business setting.

It is my opinion that, this balance between business and social life creates an enhanced quality of life and therefore increases the likelihood for longevity.

I propose to you, that we make TheBSClub a retreat, a place or thing to remind us of the importance of the balance between business and social life.

I ask you to help nurture this vision with me in the hope that someday in the distant future we will look back over time and be able to say we accomplished our own personal goals by supporting the larger one.

You have accomplished the first step by helping me establish TheBSClub.  You are here tonight.

It is important you make the small efforts necessary to secure the future strength of TheBSClub.

First, read and answer your email.

Second, treat TheBSClub as an exclusive right and privilege.

By doing these two simple things TheBSClub will grow slowly and in a controlled fashion.

With regard to the growth, I would like to offer each of you the opportunity to tell 3-5 people who you think might fit the mold.  Please forward their name and email address to me.
